We were able to have a nice calm breakfast before we had a crazy train ride to Innsbruck, Austria. A crazy, five leg train ride. Rothenburg back to Steinach, then an hour to Ireuch Hinger (Sp?), then another hour to Augsburg, fourty-five minutes to Munich and then another 50 minutes to Innsbruck. The last leg was right into the Alps, very pretty.
Our hotel was right in the middle of Innsbruck, right on Market Square and right next to the inn River. The view out of the window was amazing.
We walked around town, say the golden roof, grabbed and early dinner at an Italian place. The temperature was in the 70s, so we ate outside. It’s hard to believe we’re skiing tomorrow up the mountain and its in the 70s in the valley.
We had gelato afterwards, but this was the cremier kind, more like ice cream. We did some walking around...
The mountains are gigantic! Beautiful, a little scary that we’re skiing them tomorrow, but beautiful.
